Thanks for all your RSVPs. We are Filled up! Stay tuned for December 9!
Time for the next event! From 3pm to 6pm on Sunday 11/8, Evie Gauthier will open her home and share her lovely jewelry and wearable art. As president of the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association (which produces the largest studio tour in the state), Evie is well-connected with local artists and is welcoming Savor founder Gila Joy Pascal and Kim Crickard to share the spotlight. See their work below.
Our musician will be folk singer/songwriter and guitarist Chris Harrell who is letting me sit in on the flute. Chris produced the very fun James Taylor Tribute Evening on November 4 at La Tienda Eldorado, to an overflowing standing room only crowd! Chris has 2 sides to his music. His original “Rhythms of Enchantment” label showcases his tunes about New Mexico. On the flip side, his alter-ego is “Curious Chris, The Singing Scientist,” who infuses original science songs with interactive science demos for kids. Chris often plays at the Eldorado Upper Crust. I’ve asked him to do at least one set of his Eldorado tunes for our enjoyment.
RAFFLE: Every $10 suggested donation gets 2 raffle tickets, making you eligible to win a $100 bill. The drawing will be held at about 5:30 pm. Must be present to win. We are hoping to sell 25 tickets which will set us up for next months raffle as well as compensating the musician, AND maybe cover some promotional magnets for Savor.
These pieces will be for sale at the event:
